About
Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University (SKRAU), formerly Rajasthan Agricultural University, Bikaner, is a public institution renowned for its significant contributions to agricultural education and research, particularly in arid and semi-arid regions. It is best known for its strong programs in Agriculture, Horticulture, and Agricultural Engineering, focusing on sustainable practices relevant to Rajasthan's unique climate. While specific dedicated international student offices or extensive summer schools might be less prominent compared to larger, multi-disciplinary universities, international students are integrated into its English-taught degree programs and benefit from faculty mentorship. Support for international students is typically managed through the university's general administration, ensuring assistance with academic and administrative needs. Its distinctive characteristic lies in its specialized research and extension activities tailored to the challenges and opportunities of agriculture in the Thar Desert region.
