About
Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth (Deemed-to-be University), commonly known as Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University, is a unique institution rooted in Gandhian principles of education and social service, established in 1937. It is best known for its strong programs in Social Work, Education, and Rural Development, aiming to foster community upliftment and practical skills. While primarily serving a regional student body, international students interested in these specialized areas may find a culturally immersive experience, though dedicated international programs or extensive English-taught courses are not a primary focus. Support for international students would likely be integrated within general student welfare services. Its distinctive characteristic lies in its historical commitment to non-formal education and community engagement, making it a hub for grassroots development studies.
