About
Universidade Zambeze, established in 2007, is a public institution in Mozambique with a strong academic focus on regional development, particularly within the Zambezi Valley. It is best known for its robust programs in Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine, and Health Sciences, which emphasize practical application and community engagement. While dedicated English-taught programs or extensive international student support offices are not as prominent as in some global universities, international students are welcomed, especially those interested in its regional specializations, and can expect an immersive experience in a Portuguese-speaking environment. Support is typically provided through general university services. Its distinctive characteristic is its deep commitment to addressing local and regional challenges through applied research and education relevant to the Zambezi Valley.
