About
Daegu National University of Education (formerly Taegu National University of Education) is a specialized public institution in South Korea, renowned for its exclusive focus on training highly qualified elementary school teachers. Academically, it is best known for its comprehensive Elementary Education program, encompassing various subject-specific education departments like Korean Language Education, Mathematics Education, and Science Education. For international students, the university primarily offers exchange programs and Korean language and culture courses through its Office of International Affairs, rather than full English-taught degree programs. While support is available for exchange students, prospective full-degree international students would require strong Korean language proficiency. Its distinctive characteristic is its singular dedication to fostering future educators for the elementary school system in Korea.
