St. Petersburg State Technological University of Plant Polymers was a highly specialized institution renowned for its expertise in chemical technology, particularly concerning plant-based raw materials, pulp and paper production, and biotechnology. It offered strong programs in areas like Chemical Technology of Wood and Pulp, and Environmental Protection, serving as a leading center for these niche fields in Russia.
