About
The St. Petersburg Institute of Arts and Restoration, commonly associated with the renowned Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design, is a premier institution for creative disciplines in Russia. It is best known for its exceptional programs in art restoration, monumental art, and various fields of design, blending classical traditions with contemporary approaches. International students are welcomed, often engaging in preparatory Russian language courses before entering degree programs, and can participate in exchange programs or short-term courses. While most core instruction is in Russian, the university provides support through its international office, assisting with adaptation and academic guidance. A distinctive characteristic is its deep historical roots, housed in a magnificent building that is itself a work of art, fostering an inspiring environment for artistic development.
