About
P. V. Narasimha Rao Telangana Veterinary University (PVNRTVU), established in 2014, is Telangana's premier institution dedicated to veterinary and allied sciences. It is best known for its comprehensive Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) program, alongside strong postgraduate offerings in various veterinary specializations, dairy technology, and fishery science. While the university primarily serves domestic students, international students are welcomed, typically through direct applications or government-sponsored scholarships like those from the ICCR, with all professional courses taught in English. Support for international students is generally managed through the university's academic administration, ensuring a smooth integration into its focused academic environment. A distinctive characteristic is its role as the sole state veterinary university in Telangana, named after former Prime Minister P. V. Narasimha Rao.
