About
Monash University South Africa (MSA) was a unique branch campus of the prestigious Australian Monash University, established to offer internationally recognized degrees within the African continent. It was academically known for its strong focus on business, information technology, and social sciences, delivering a curriculum aligned with Australian standards. For international students, MSA provided a truly global experience with a diverse student body, English-taught programs, and a direct pathway to an Australian-quality education without leaving Africa. A distinctive characteristic was its status as the only campus of an Australian university in Africa, offering a blend of local context with global academic excellence before its acquisition and rebranding as IIE MSA in 2013.
