About
Hodeidah University, a public institution located in the port city of Hodeidah, Yemen, was established to serve the educational needs of the Tihamah region. It is primarily known for its faculties in Medicine, Engineering, and Education, which aim to provide essential professionals for the local community. For prospective international students, it's crucial to understand that the university's operations and the overall environment in Yemen have been severely impacted by ongoing conflict, making it an extremely challenging and unsafe destination. Consequently, there are no dedicated international programs, English-taught degrees, or specific support services for international students in the traditional sense. Its distinctive characteristic lies in its continued efforts to provide higher education amidst significant adversity.
