About

Central European University (CEU) is a distinctive graduate-level institution renowned for its focus on social sciences, humanities, law, and public policy, deeply committed to the principles of open society and academic freedom. It offers a highly international environment, with all its programs taught entirely in English, attracting students from over 100 countries. CEU provides extensive support for international students through its dedicated offices, scholarships, and a vibrant multicultural campus life. A unique characteristic is its historical struggle for academic freedom in Hungary, which led to a partial relocation of its US-accredited programs to Vienna while maintaining a significant presence and Hungarian-accredited programs in Budapest.
