About

The University of the Virgin Islands (UVI) is a public land-grant institution and the only Historically Black College and University (HBCU) located outside the U.S. mainland. It is best known for its exceptional programs in marine biology, environmental science, and business, leveraging its tropical setting to offer undergraduates direct access to coral reef research at the MacLean Marine Science Center.
