About

Established in 1898 as the oldest higher education institution in the Texas Panhandle, Clarendon College is a comprehensive two-year community college celebrated for its top-tier agricultural sciences, ranch horse team, and nationally competitive livestock judging program. Alongside traditional university-transfer associate degrees, the college provides high-demand vocational training in fields such as vocational nursing, welding, and cosmetology across its main rural campus and branch locations. Student life is steeped in a proud Western heritage and driven by intercollegiate athletics and rodeo, fostering a close-knit, supportive community defined by small class sizes and hands-on learning.
