As South Carolina’s only public historically Black, land-grant institution, South Carolina State University is best known for its rich legacy of opportunity and its warm, family-like campus culture. The university boasts highly regarded programs in business, education, and biology, while uniquely featuring the nation's only accredited undergraduate nuclear engineering program at an HBCU.
