The University of Findlay is a private institution in northwest Ohio renowned for its premier programs in equestrian studies, animal science, pre-veterinary medicine, and high-demand health professions like pharmacy and physical therapy. The university distinguishes itself with two expansive off-campus equestrian facilities housing hundreds of horses, as well as the acclaimed Mazza Museum, the world’s first and largest museum dedicated to original art from children’s literature. The University of Findlay has nearly 80 undergraduate programs leading to baccalaureate degrees and 11 master's degrees and five doctorate-level degree programs. Over 4,800 students are enrolled at Findlay. The University of Findlay has a 76-acre (31 ha) main campus and five off-campus facilities.
