About
As the denominational seminary of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis is best known for its rigorous Reformed theological education, with premier programs including the Master of Divinity (MDiv) and the Master of Arts in Counseling (MAC). The campus culture fosters a tight-knit, relational environment dedicated to a distinctively grace-centered approach to spiritual formation, preparing students for pastoral ministry, counseling, and cross-cultural mission work. A major hallmark of the institution is its integration of solid biblical scholarship with practical ministry, highlighted by the on-campus Francis A. Schaeffer Institute and a counseling curriculum that uniquely equips graduates for state professional licensure within a theological framework.
