About

Located in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Kalamazoo College is a nationally recognized liberal arts institution renowned for the "K-Plan," a highly customizable undergraduate framework that integrates rigorous academics with experiential learning. The college boasts exceptionally strong programs in the natural sciences—particularly biology and chemistry, which produce a high percentage of future PhD graduates—as well as robust majors in psychology, business, and English. Students thrive in a collaborative, socially conscious, and globally-minded campus culture, participating in a close-knit residential community and extensive local service-learning projects. What truly distinguishes "K" is its remarkable commitment to international education, with over 70 percent of students studying abroad, and the requirement of a Senior Individualized Project (SIP) that allows every student to conduct graduate-level independent research or creative work.
