Clark University is a small, research-intensive liberal arts institution in Worcester, Massachusetts, renowned for its world-class programs in geography, psychology, international development, and environmental science. Central to the academic experience is Clark's signature LEEP (Liberal Education and Effective Practice) framework, which integrates hands-on research and funded internships, as well as a distinctive fifth-year accelerated master’s program that offers a tuition-free fifth year of study to eligible undergraduate alumni. The campus culture is defined by a close-knit, socially conscious, and intellectually driven student body that values progressive activism, collaboration, and meaningful community engagement in the surrounding Main South neighborhood.

Founded in 1887 with a large endowment from its namesake Jonas Gilman Clark, a prominent businessman, Clark was known as the first all-graduate institution in the U.S. Originally an all-graduate institution, Clark's first undergraduates entered in 1902 and women were first enrolled in 1942.
