Southern University at New Orleans (SUNO) is a public historically Black university (HBCU) celebrated for its affordable, community-focused education and its historic distinction as the only public HBCU established in Louisiana following the landmark *Brown v. Board of Education* decision. The university is highly regarded for its nationally accredited School of Social Work, as well as its strong, career-ready programs in Forensic Science, Criminal Justice, and Business Administration.
