Yosu National University, now integrated as the Yeosu Campus of Chonnam National University, was historically a prominent institution, particularly celebrated for its strong programs in marine and fisheries sciences. While it no longer operates independently, the Yeosu Campus continues this legacy, offering robust academic programs in fields like marine engineering, aquaculture, and oceanography, alongside various engineering and humanities disciplines. International students at the Yeosu Campus are supported by Chonnam National University's comprehensive Office of International Affairs, which facilitates exchange programs, offers dedicated support services, and provides access to a growing number of English-taught courses. The campus offers a distinctive coastal study environment, making it an ideal choice for those passionate about maritime-related research and industries.
