About
The University of Trnava, re-established in 1992, carries the rich legacy of Slovakia's first university founded in 1635, offering a unique blend of historical tradition and contemporary education. It is best known for its strong faculties in humanities, social sciences, law, and health sciences, particularly excelling in fields like philosophy, history, and nursing. For international students, the university provides a welcoming environment with an International Relations Office facilitating exchange programs like Erasmus+ and offering a growing number of English-taught courses, especially in health sciences and at postgraduate levels. While primarily Slovak-speaking, the university is committed to expanding its international offerings and support, making it an appealing choice for those seeking a more intimate academic experience rooted in a significant historical context.
