About

Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM), or the University of the City of Manila, is a public, city-funded institution established in 1965, notably the first university in Asia to be funded solely by a city government. It is highly regarded for its strong academic programs, particularly in Medicine, Law, Accountancy, and Engineering, consistently producing top performers in national licensure examinations. While primarily serving local students, PLM welcomes international applicants, offering a quality education where English is the primary language of instruction. International students will integrate into a vibrant local academic community, benefiting from the university's commitment to accessible, high-standard education. Support for international students is integrated within general university services rather than through a dedicated international school or extensive exchange programs.
