About

As the oldest continuously operating university in the world, the University of Bologna is globally renowned for its excellence in humanities, law, political science, and advanced engineering disciplines. It offers a wide array of English-taught degree programs, particularly at the master's level, attracting a diverse student body from across the globe. International students are well-supported by dedicated desks and welcome offices across its multi-campus structure in the Emilia-Romagna region, which assist with everything from bureaucratic procedures to housing. A distinctive characteristic of the institution is its unique "multicampus" layout integrated directly into historic medieval cities, offering students an immersive Italian cultural experience rather than a secluded campus life. Beyond the classroom, international scholars benefit from extensive mobility opportunities like Erasmus+ and specialized student associations that help integrate newcomers into the vibrant local community.
