About
Universidade Luterana do Brasil (ULBRA) is a prominent private university in Brazil, recognized for its strong focus on practical professional training across a wide range of fields. It is particularly well-regarded for its programs in Health Sciences (including Medicine and Dentistry), Engineering, and Law, aiming to prepare students for immediate entry into the job market. For international students, ULBRA offers support through its International Relations Office, which facilitates exchange programs, assists with integration, and promotes cultural exchange, though primary instruction is in Portuguese. While full English-taught degrees are uncommon, the university actively welcomes exchange students and provides resources to help them adapt. A distinctive characteristic is its extensive network of campuses across several Brazilian states, making it one of the largest Lutheran educational institutions in Latin America.
