About
Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) is Nigeria's premier university dedicated exclusively to teacher education, established in 2005. It is renowned for its comprehensive programs across various educational disciplines, aiming to produce highly qualified educators and professionals. Strongest faculties include Education (spanning Sciences, Arts, Vocational, and Social Sciences), Agricultural Science, and Business Administration, all with an educational pedagogy focus. While TASUED welcomes international students, dedicated international student offices or specific summer schools might be less prominent than in larger, more globally-focused institutions; however, all programs are taught in English, and support is integrated into general student services. Its distinctive characteristic is being the first and only university in Nigeria founded solely to offer undergraduate and postgraduate courses in education.
