Sylhet International University

About

Located in Sylhet, Bangladesh, Sylhet International University is a private higher education institution known for offering accessible undergraduate and graduate education in fields such as business administration, computer science and engineering, and law. The university's academic structure is primarily designed to serve local students, meaning that the curriculum and classroom instruction are largely delivered in Bengali alongside English, reflecting the national higher education framework. While the institution does not feature a sprawling multinational campus network or extensive dedicated global support offices akin to major Western universities, it welcomes regional learners seeking affordable professional qualifications. A distinctive characteristic of the institution is its strategic placement in Sylhet, a major cultural and academic hub in northeastern Bangladesh, providing students with a localized yet dynamic community setting. Prospective international applicants should carefully verify language-of-instruction requirements and direct support services with the admissions office prior to applying, as formal infrastructure tailored specifically to overseas students is limited.
