About
Shanghai Customs College (SCC) is a highly specialized institution directly administered by the General Administration of Customs of China, making it the only university of its kind in the nation. It is best known for its unique focus on customs management, international economics and trade, and law, preparing students for careers in customs, international trade, and related fields. For international students, SCC offers opportunities to delve into Chinese language and culture, alongside specialized studies in customs affairs, often through exchange programs or short-term courses. While degree programs are primarily taught in Chinese, the college provides a distinctive environment for those interested in China's customs system and global trade. Its direct affiliation with the national customs authority offers unparalleled practical insights and career pathways in a niche but crucial sector.
