About
Sangmyung University, with campuses in Seoul and Cheonan, is particularly renowned for its top-tier programs in arts, design, and culture, alongside strong offerings in the humanities and IT engineering. The university sets itself apart through its deep commitment to creative convergence education, integrating artistic innovation with technology to prepare students for modern creative industries. For international students, the university provides a welcoming environment supported by the Office of International Affairs, which offers Korean language programs through its Institute of International Language and Culture to help students transition smoothly. While the majority of undergraduate degree courses are taught in Korean, the university continually expands its selection of English-taught lectures, particularly within specialized exchange programs and select graduate tracks. International students also benefit from dedicated peer-mentoring systems, cultural excursion programs, and global student buddies designed to foster a sense of community from day one.
