Poole Gakuin University, though no longer operational, was a private women's university in Japan, established in 1996 and closing its doors in 2011. Rooted in a long history of Christian education, it primarily offered programs in humanities, social welfare, and early childhood education. While it did not have extensive dedicated international programs or English-taught degrees during its operational period, its curriculum emphasized a holistic approach to learning. For international students considering study in Japan, it's important to note that this institution is no longer accepting new enrollments. Its distinctive characteristic was its commitment to women's education within a Christian framework.
