About
The Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas, widely known as the Angelicum, is a distinguished institution in Rome with deep roots in the Dominican intellectual tradition. It is best known for its rigorous academic programs in Philosophy, Theology, Canon Law, and Social Sciences, all approached from a Thomistic perspective. The university actively welcomes a diverse international student body from over 100 countries, fostering a vibrant global community and providing an International Office to support their needs. While Italian is the primary language of instruction, some courses and programs, particularly at the graduate level, are available in English, making it accessible for non-Italian speakers. A distinctive characteristic is its unique mission to promote the thought of St. Thomas Aquinas within contemporary academic discourse.
