About
Politeknik Negeri Sambas (POLTESA) is a public vocational higher education institution in West Kalimantan, Indonesia, known for its practical, industry-oriented education. It excels in applied fields such as Agricultural Technology, Informatics Engineering, and Business Management, preparing students with hands-on skills for immediate employment. While POLTESA primarily serves local students and instruction is predominantly in Indonesian, prospective international students should anticipate a highly immersive cultural experience and may need proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia, as dedicated English-taught programs or extensive international student support offices are not prominently featured. Its distinctive characteristic lies in its commitment to regional development through vocational training, particularly in the agricultural sector relevant to the border region.
