About
The University of Teacher Education Graubünden (PHGR) is Switzerland's leading institution for teacher training within the trilingual canton of Graubünden. It is academically renowned for its comprehensive programs in early childhood, primary, and secondary education, as well as specialized fields like special needs education and educational sciences. While primarily focused on preparing teachers for the Swiss school system, PHGR welcomes international exchange students through programs like Erasmus+ and Movetia, offering a unique opportunity to experience Swiss pedagogy. The university's distinctive characteristic is its commitment to multilingual education, integrating German, Romansh, and Italian into its curriculum. International students benefit from support services for exchange programs, though full degree programs are predominantly taught in the local languages.
