About
Petru Maior University of Targu Mures was a public institution renowned for its strong programs in Engineering, Computer Science, and Economics. It offered a welcoming environment for international students, with several English-taught programs and dedicated support through its international relations office. A distinctive characteristic is that in 2018, it merged with the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Targu Mures to form the George Emil Palade University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science, and Technology of Targu Mures (UMFST Târgu Mureș). Therefore, prospective international students interested in its former academic offerings would now apply to UMFST Târgu Mureș, which continues to provide a broad spectrum of studies and robust international student support.
