About

The Norwegian College of Veterinary Medicine (NVH) was historically Norway's sole institution for veterinary education, renowned for its comprehensive programs in animal health, food safety, and veterinary public health. While NVH merged into the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) in 2014, its legacy continues as the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at NMBU, now located in Ås. International students interested in veterinary sciences can find English-taught Master's and PhD programs, along with exchange opportunities, benefiting from a strong research environment and dedicated international student support services at NMBU. A distinctive characteristic is its enduring role in educating nearly all veterinarians practicing in Norway, maintaining a strong national and international reputation in veterinary science.
