About
The Moscow P. I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory is one of the world's most prestigious music institutions, renowned for its rigorous training in classical music performance, composition, and musicology. It is particularly strong in piano, violin, cello, voice, and conducting, upholding a rich tradition of Russian pedagogical excellence. International students experience an immersive and highly demanding environment, often beginning with a preparatory faculty focused on intensive Russian language acquisition and foundational music theory to meet the high academic standards. While the primary language of instruction is Russian, the Conservatory's international department assists foreign applicants and provides support, though deep engagement requires strong Russian proficiency.
