About
Miryang National University, once an independent institution, merged with Pusan National University (PNU) in 2006 and now operates as PNU's Miryang Campus. Historically, it was renowned for its programs in agricultural sciences, life sciences, and biotechnology, contributing significantly to regional development. Prospective international students interested in studying in Miryang should now apply directly to Pusan National University, which offers a wide array of English-taught programs, dedicated international student support offices, and various exchange opportunities across its campuses. While Miryang National University no longer exists as a standalone entity, its legacy continues through PNU's specialized research and educational initiatives on the Miryang campus, particularly in advanced agricultural and bio-industry fields. A distinctive characteristic is its transformation from a regional agricultural college into a key campus of one of Korea's leading national universities.
