About
Maseno University is a public institution in Kenya best known for its strong academic offerings in education, development studies, and health sciences, alongside a growing reputation in information technology. Distinctively, the university operates across multiple campuses—including a main campus situated right on the equator—offering students a unique geographical and cultural setting for their studies. While the primary language of instruction is English, international students benefit from degree programs tailored to global perspectives, particularly in public health and environmental studies. The institution's Directorate of International Linkages and Programmes actively assists foreign scholars with admissions, orientation, and integration into the campus community. Although life at Maseno offers an authentic immersion into East African culture, the administration continues to expand its support infrastructure to better accommodate the needs of its international student body.
