About

Linköping University is widely recognized for its strong emphasis on innovation, interdisciplinary research, and exceptionally close ties to industry, particularly in engineering, computer science, and medicine. The university offers a wide array of high-quality master’s programs taught entirely in English, attracting a diverse cohort of students from across the globe. A dedicated International Helpdesk and comprehensive orientation programs ensure that newcomers quickly adjust to Swedish academic culture and daily life. What truly sets Linköping apart is its pioneering adoption of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) across many curricula, which encourages students to tackle real-world, open-ended challenges rather than relying solely on traditional lectures. Furthermore, the vibrant campus culture is anchored by traditional Swedish student nations, providing international students with a rich social life filled with clubs, traditions, and community events.
