About
Jeonju National University of Education is a specialized public institution in Korea, exclusively dedicated to training future elementary school teachers. Established in 1923, it is renowned for its comprehensive programs in elementary education, covering a wide range of subjects from Korean Language Education to Science Education, all tailored for the elementary school curriculum. For international students, the university primarily offers exchange programs and cultural immersion opportunities, with full degree programs largely conducted in Korean and requiring high proficiency. While dedicated international support offices exist, the core curriculum is highly focused on the Korean educational system, making it ideal for those deeply interested in comparative education or short-term exchanges rather than full English-taught degrees. Its distinctive characteristic is its singular focus on nurturing educators for the nation's elementary schools.
