About
Islamic Azad University, Mobarakeh, is a branch of one of the world's largest non-governmental university systems, offering a wide array of programs primarily in engineering, agriculture, and humanities. As part of the extensive Islamic Azad University network, it attracts a diverse student body, including international students, particularly from neighboring countries. While Persian is the main language of instruction, the broader IAU system often provides support for international students, including visa assistance and sometimes Persian language courses. The university is known for its accessibility and practical approach to education, contributing significantly to regional development. A distinctive characteristic is its role in providing higher education opportunities across Iran as part of a vast decentralized network.
