About
HEP-BEJUNE (Haute Ecole Pédagogique BEJUNE) is the leading public institution for teacher education in the French-speaking cantons of Bern, Jura, and Neuchâtel, Switzerland. It is best known for its comprehensive programs in primary, secondary I, and special needs education, preparing future educators for the region. While primarily serving local students, HEP-BEJUNE facilitates international exchanges through programs like ERASMUS+, offering opportunities for incoming students to experience Swiss pedagogical methods. International students participating in exchange programs receive support from the mobility office, though full degree programs are predominantly in French. Its distinctive characteristic lies in its unique mandate to train teachers specifically for the educational systems of its three constituent cantons.
