About
École Normale Supérieure (ENS) de Paris is a highly selective, world-renowned public institution dedicated to research and higher education, particularly in the sciences and humanities. It is best known for its rigorous academic environment, producing numerous Nobel laureates, Fields medalists, and leading intellectuals. Strongest programs include Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Philosophy, and Literature. For international students, ENS offers specific admission pathways like the 'International Selection' program, which provides a unique opportunity to join its master's and doctoral programs. While the primary language of instruction is French, some master's courses and research opportunities are available in English, and the International Relations Office provides support for visa, housing, and integration. A distinctive characteristic is its focus on training future researchers and academics through a highly individualized, research-driven curriculum.
