About

The Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Industries de Strasbourg (ENSAIS) was a distinguished French engineering grande école, known for its practical approach to technical education. While ENSAIS itself no longer operates as an independent institution, it evolved into INSA Strasbourg in 2003, which subsequently became a key component of the University of Strasbourg in 2009. Historically, it was best known for its robust programs in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, and architecture, emphasizing a blend of technical arts and industrial application. Prospective international students interested in its legacy would now engage with INSA Strasbourg, which offers a highly internationalized environment with exchange programs, dedicated international offices, and some English-taught master's courses within the comprehensive University of Strasbourg system. Its distinctive characteristic was its pioneering role in integrating technical arts with industrial sciences, preparing engineers with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
