About
Democritus University of Thrace (DEI) is a comprehensive Greek institution particularly strong in Engineering, Law, and Health Sciences, distinguished by its unique multi-campus structure spread across four cities in the Thracian region. For international students, while most undergraduate degrees are primarily taught in Greek, DEI actively participates in the Erasmus+ program, offering a selection of courses in English for exchange students. A growing number of Master's programs incorporate English-taught modules or entire curricula, supported by a dedicated International Relations Office that assists with admissions, integration, and navigating student life. This setup provides a distinctive opportunity for international students to immerse themselves in Greek academia and culture within a vibrant, regionally connected, and research-focused environment.
