About
The Dániel Berzsenyi Teacher Training College, originally established in Szombathely, was historically one of Hungary's leading institutions for teacher education. While it no longer operates as an independent entity, its legacy and programs were integrated first into the University of West Hungary and subsequently into Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) as the ELTE Savaria University Centre. It was best known for its strong programs in pedagogy, humanities, and social sciences, preparing educators for various levels. Prospective international students interested in these fields would now find a vibrant international community and a wide array of English-taught programs and support services through ELTE, which actively promotes exchange and degree programs for global students. Its distinctive characteristic was its foundational role in shaping regional education through dedicated teacher training.
