Busoga University was a private institution in Iganga, Uganda, which ceased operations after its license was revoked by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) in 2018 due to academic and administrative irregularities. Consequently, it is no longer an active university and does not admit students. During its operational period from 1999, it was historically known for offering programs in Education, Business Administration, and Theology, primarily serving local Ugandan students. There were no dedicated international student offices or extensive international programs, and its closure means it cannot be considered for international study.
Busoga University (BU), is a private university in Uganda, affiliated with Central Busoga Diocese of the Church of Uganda.
