Alhosn University

About

Alhosn University, established in 2005, was a private institution in Abu Dhabi known for its focus on applied sciences and professional development, particularly in engineering, business, and urban planning. It primarily offered English-taught programs, which naturally attracted a diverse international student body seeking practical, industry-relevant education in the UAE. While it did not have dedicated international schools, its curriculum and support services were designed to accommodate a global student population. A distinctive characteristic was its commitment to fostering a strong connection between academic learning and professional practice. However, Alhosn University merged with Abu Dhabi University in 2017 and no longer operates as a standalone entity.
