Founded in 1888, Worsham College of Mortuary Science is one of the nation’s oldest dedicated funeral service institutions, best known for its comprehensive curriculum in embalming, restorative art, grief counseling, and funeral home management. The student experience is intensely practical and career-driven, centered around a close-knit, professional community of adult learners being mentored directly by licensed practitioners. A major distinctive hallmark of Worsham is its balance of flexible hybrid online learning with rigorous, hands-on clinical lab training in Wheeling, which consistently prepares graduates for high National Board Examination pass rates and rapid entry into the funeral service profession.
